Punjab Police Recruitment 2011 – Online Application for 150 SI Posts: Punjab Police (District Cadre) has calling online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for the recruitment of 120 Male Sub-inspector and 30 Female Sub-inspector vacancies for both male and female candidate in Punjab Police (District Cadre). Total no. of posts: 150 vacancies
Name of the posts:
For Male Sub-inspector: 120 vacancies
For Female Sub-inspector: 30 vacancies
Age limit: The candidate’s lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 25 years as on 01/01/2011, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Pass with Graduation or its equivalent from a recognized university it is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory subject.
Selection procedure: The mode of selection is physical measurements/physical efficiency test/written test/interview basis.
Application fee: Demand draft of Rs 500/- and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Chairman, Recruitment Board for Sub-inspector (District Cadre), payable at Chandigarh.
How to apply: The eligible candidates have to apply through online from the htt://recruitment.cdacmohali.in website between 01/08/2011 to 16/08/2011, till 6.00 pm. After successfully submission of online application candidates take 2 copies of print outs of the filled form and send it one copy of the filled form along with self attested photograph and Demand draft to the following address Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) A-34, Industrial Area, Phase 8, Mohali. The application form has a registration number, password that needs to be remembered and has to be kept for future use.
